Al Bar was born in Mexico City but considers himself to be a San Francisco native. He currently resides in Brooklyn. Trained as a zoologist, Al is a programmer by trade, but his true passions are illustration and photography. Al is particularly fascinated by photojournalism and the accurate depiction of nightlife and things that go bump in the dark.
